AWA IV 2-4-6-12KV Automated Winding Analyzer
The Baker AWA-IV is a fully-automated motor analyzer that automatically performs repeatable, user-programmable tests to thoroughly assess the strength of a motor’s insulation and circuit. It is also used to assure quality of motor rebuilds or new production motors before they are placed into service.
DX Family
DX4/6/12/15KV Digital Processor based Winding Analyzer
The Baker DX series comes in wide range of configurations and can be ordered with just the test capabilities needed. Such capabilities include maximum test voltage, number of leads (one or three), full set of tests (including winding resistance, DC insulation test and surge test), DC only tests, DC and Surge only test or winding resistance only test. Additional options include partial discharge test, external armature test accessory connection (4/6/12/15 KV Units) built in armature test (DX15A only) and power pack connections/ interfaces.
High Voltage Power Packs
The SKF Baker Power packs are used with SKF Baker Winding Analyzers as the controller to provide high voltage outputs for testing higher voltage motors and generators. The Baker 30 is a 30 KV output, the Baker 40 is a 40 KV output and Baker 85 is a 30KV output with built armature test capability. They all perform both surge and DC high potential tests. The Baker 30 and Baker 85 can be controlled by either the AWA 6 or 12KV or any of the DX testers. The Baker 40 is controlled by any of the DX testers.
